Early 70's to 1989

The studio in 1974.

The linear AM transmitter before it was mounted in a rack. This is my old novice transmitter modulated by a modified EICO model 730 modulator. The Heath SB-200 is used to raise the power to 100+ watts output.

This is the 145.70 Mhz FM transmitter under construction. It was made from pieces of an old salvaged SBE model SB-144 transceiver.

My first commercial 2 meter beam was a 7 element Cushcraft. Here it is being erected in 1975.

The 2 meter and 70 cm circularly polarized KLM beams after a wind storm took them down in 1982.
